In the run-up to the 25th European Ham Radio School Stations Day on 6 May 2024, a survey was conducted of active school and university stations within Germany and neighbouring European countries. As of March 2026, this list has grown to more than 50 stations.

It is intended to promote communication and networking among school and university stations, whether for arranging skeds or carrying out joint (including cross-border) experiments and events. It also serves as a reference for the approval of new school stations and for the exchange of experiences among station managers.

The list contains the name and call sign of the school station, postcode, contact address (E-mail only) and the URL of the website. It is continuously updated and can be requested by station managers at schools and universities by emailing schoolstations(at)aatis.de. Registered stations receive the updated lists automatically. A download option is not provided.

School stations are defined as amateur radio stations at general education schools, vocational schools and universities/colleges. Stations at STEM educational venues (e.g. museums and educational associations, school labs at research institutions) may also be included in the list. These stations may also be active on a temporary basis only.

The following details are required for inclusion in the list and should be sent to schoolstations(at)aatis.de.

1. Name and address of the educational institution
2. Call sign of the school station (if available) or training call signs used
3. Contact details of the relevant subject teacher/station manager
4. Does the station have its own website, or is information about amateur radio provided on the school’s website?
5. Consent to the sharing of contact details with other teachers and schools.

Please help us keep this valuable list up to date by:

• Adding the school station you look after to the list
• Notifying us of any changes (call sign change, new E-Mail address, station inactive, etc.)
• Pointing out school stations not (yet) listed – we will get in touch.
